Yuck! That’s the sound that the late Steve Jobs might have made had he been around to see the new case renders made by Olixar for the Apple iPhone 11 Pro. That’s because the renders feature a sleeve for the Apple Pencil. However, the size of the slot is too small to fit the Pencil that works on the iPad and iPad Pro. So if Olixar is right, and the cases posted on Mobile Fun’s site are based on inside information, it appears that Apple will introduce mini-Pencil support for at least one of its new 2019 phones. Color options for the case are Gray, Brown, and Black.

Last month, the research arm of Citibank’s Private Banking unit said that it expects the 2019 iPhone models to support the Apple Pencil. The accessory was originally launched in 2015 and a second-generation model was released last year for the new iPad Pro tablets. If Apple does add Pencil support for its new handsets, it might be considered a long-delayed response to the S Pen that comes with the Samsung Galaxy Note series. But before you get too excited, keep in mind that Olixar has been dead wrong before. Back in May 2018, Olixar revealed case renders for the iPhone SE 2, a device that was never announced by Apple.

We should also make note of the name used by Olixar, the iPhone 11 Pro. A rumor previously floated earlier this month indicated that the 2019 OLED iPhones could be named the iPhone 11 Pro (5.8-inches) and the iPhone 11 Pro (6.5-inches). The LCD model could be given the name iPhone (2019). All three upcoming models will be equipped with a square camera module mounted on the upper left-hand corner of the rear glass panel; the two iPhone 11 Pro devices will sport three cameras on the back (12MP primary + 12 MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom + 12MP Ultra-wide) while the remaining model will be equipped with the primary and telephoto cameras.

The three new iPhones are expected to be introduced on September 10th, according to a screenshot found on the latest iOS 13 beta. We know that they will be powered by the latest Apple A-series chipset, the A13 Bionic. This will be a 7nm chip produced by foundry TSMC off of Apple’s designs. Of course, the handsets will be pre-installed with iOS 13. And previous reports indicate that they could include the reverse wireless charging feature that debuted on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and can be found on Samsung’s 2019 flagships. The Korean manufacturer calls this Wireless PowerShare and it allows a phone to be used as a wireless charging pad. If Apple does include this feature on its new handsets, an iPhone owner will be able to charge the AirPods in its wireless charging case, an Apple Watch, or a compatible phone by sharing battery power from his or her iPhone. Since the host phone is sacrificing some of its energy, Apple is expected to hike the battery capacities on the new handsets with the iPhone 11 Pro (6.5-inches) rumored to be equipped with a battery weighing in with a capacity of nearly 4000mAh. That would be the largest capacity battery ever found on an iPhone.

To help you charge up the battery on your 2019 iPhone faster, Apple will reportedly include an 18W adapter in the box for the very first time. Models from the iPhone 8 and up support faster charging although Apple previously included only a 5W charging brick in the box; those who want to charge their phone faster have to spend $29 for the 18W charger. Also included in the box will most likely be a Type-C to Lightning cable.
