You can now download drivers and firmware for both Surface Laptop and the new Surface Pro from the Microsoft Download Center.

These downloads are aimed at admins and IT pros who need to manage multiple Surface devices in a corporate environment. But they can be used by individuals as well: If you have to restore your Surface using the stock Windows 10 installer (which is available for free online), you can use these driver and firmware downloads to complete Setup while offline. (If you’re online, you should be able to get all this over Windows Update.)

Microsoft notes that the minimum OS level for the new Surface Pro and the Surface Laptop is Windows 10 version 1703 (the Creators Update), or build 15063. Which makes sense: This is the version of Windows 10 that ships on these devices.

Each download is provided in MSI format. You can use this file to install all drivers and firmware automatically, or just pick and choose which you need.
