Samsung has a rugged tablet with a 10-inch screen and interesting name in the works

Android tablets haven’t exactly been selling like hotcakes in the last few years, but Samsung remains very much committed to the Apple-dominated market, reportedly planning to unveil at least one new high-end model, a mid-ranger, and an entry-level variant before long. A fresh GalaxyClub report (translated) seems to bring a fourth name to the table, although there’s also a good chance the Galaxy Tab Active Pro and SM-T545 are actually one and the same device.
Given the larger screen, this bad boy could well be named the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, a brand that the company actually trademarked in a number of key markets around the world in recent months. Another puzzle piece that appears to neatly fall into place is the SM-T545 benchmark listing spotted earlier this very week. That model number definitely fits the description of an upgraded version of the 8-inch Galaxy Tab Active 2, which is also known by the SM-T395 designation.
If we’re indeed looking at the Galaxy Tab Active Pro, its specifications are likely to include a respectable Snapdragon 710 processor and 4GB RAM. That’s obviously not on par with what we expect from the high-end Galaxy Tab S5, but it’s significantly better than what the Tab Active 2 has going on under the hood.
